Dear Valued Active&Fit Direct Member,

Thank you for participating in the Active&Fit Direct program. Our records indicate that you currently have more than one standard gym saved to your account. You may continue to go to more than one standard gym at no additional cost until June 30, 2024.

Effective July 1, you will have access to one standard gym for $28 per month (plus applicable taxes).* You will then have the option to purchase additional gym memberships with a $5 discount off the monthly fee for each membership. For example, if you have one standard gym membership ($28 plus applicable taxes) and purchase one additional standard gym membership ($23 plus applicable taxes) on July 1, your total monthly payment would be $51 (plus applicable taxes). If you have one standard gym membership ($28 plus applicable taxes) and you purchase 2 additional standard gym memberships, each additional standard gym membership will be $23 per month (plus applicable taxes). Your total monthly payment will be $74 (plus applicable taxes).

Please select your primary standard gym by June 30:

1. Log In: Access your Active&Fit Direct account.
2. Manage Memberships: Select "Manage Memberships" from the profile menu options.
3. Remove All Standard Gyms Except One: Choose any gym memberships to remove and select "Cancel Selected Memberships." Be sure to keep one standard gym as your primary. If your enrolled spouse/domestic partner also utilizes more than one standard gym, please cancel their additional gym memberships, keeping one standard gym as their primary.

If you have any premium memberships, they are not affected by this update.

If no action is taken by June 30, we will determine your primary gym based on your gym usage and remove all additional gym memberships from your account.

1) Why are you modifying access to multiple standard locations?

To keep the cost stable for all members. Despite being able to change it anytime, we know that a low price point is of the utmost importance to our members, so that is what we are focused on. Our goal is to provide an exceptionally affordable option for fitness seekers that goes beyond traditional gym access. On July 1, 2024, you can add additional locations with a $5 discount per location which is still a very strong value. 

2) If I need to pay additional fees to access multiple standard gyms, why would I stay enrolled in the Active&Fit Direct program over gyms that may advertise a lower monthly fee?

The Active&Fit Direct program has no long-term contracts or annual maintenance fees. It is a comprehensive fitness program that goes beyond traditional gym access. We offer the ability to choose from thousands of gym options, access thousands of helpful resources like how-to articles, educational videos, and more at no additional cost, and members may have access to well-being coaching. Just registering with the program also provides access to over 12,000 on-demand workout videos for free. Starting July 1, you may add additional gyms with a $5 monthly discount per location.

For example, if you have one standard gym membership ($32 plus applicable taxes) and purchase one additional standard gym membership ($23 plus applicable taxes) on July 1, your total monthly payment would be $51 (plus applicable taxes). If you have one standard gym membership ($32 plus applicable taxes) and you purchase 2 additional standard gym memberships, each additional standard gym membership will be $23 per month (plus applicable taxes). Your total monthly payment will be $74 (plus applicable taxes).

3) How long will I be able to use multiple standard locations with no additional fee per location?

The update goes into effect July 1, 2024. All members will need to choose their primary gym by June 30, 2024. If you do not choose your primary gym, we will determine your primary gym based on utilization. On July 1, 2024, you can add additional locations with a $5 monthly discount per location which is still a very strong value.

4) I only signed up because I wanted to use multiple standard gyms. How do I cancel?

Keep in mind that you can still use multiple standard gyms. On July 1, 2024, you can add additional locations with a $5 discount per location which is still a very strong value. The Active&Fit Direct program is a comprehensive fitness program that goes beyond traditional gym access. We offer the ability to choose from thousands of gym options, access to thousands of helpful resources like how-to articles, educational videos, and more at no additional cost, and members may have access to well-being coaching. We’d be sorry to see you go, but one of the benefits of the Active&Fit Direct program is that you may cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice (after paying for 2 months), by logging into your account on the website and selecting the Manage Memberships link. Your enrollment will continue until the last day of the month for which you paid. Please note that if you cancel your membership during your initial 2-month commitment, your enrollment will end on the last day of the second paid month. If you choose to join again in the future, you may have to pay a new enrollment fee.

5) I’ve been a customer for a long time; can I keep the current deal?

Unfortunately, that will not be possible. The update to the program will take effect on July 1, 2024, for all members.

6) Do I have flexibility to switch gyms without paying for additional locations?

You can switch gyms at any time with a new feature launching in July that offers flexible start options. You can choose to use your new gym immediately by paying for the current month or access your new gym starting on the first of the following month with no extra fees.
